About Joey
Joey Popp is a broadcast veteran, widely recognized throughout the Charlotte region for his on-air appearances on local television and radio stations.
Joey regularly produces segments for national broadcast and cable television networks and also serves as a media consultant, providing crisis communications for numerous corporations and non-profits. He also serves as an emcee for civic and private events across the Carolinas.
He hosted "HealthWise" on WTVI where medical experts appeared from throughout the Carolinas. On the radio, Joey hosted "Weekend Edition" on WFAE-FM on Saturday mornings.read moreJoey works as a field producer for many clients including NBC News, TODAY, CBS “The Early Show,” and EXTRA TV to name a few. His role is to work with the correspondent-photography crews and coordinate news and feature segments along with setting up live interviews across the Carolinas.
